12 Limescale Pads

These pads keep limescale buildup in check, which helps maintain your water’s great taste while extending the life of your main filter. They work using ion exchangers that capture limescale and soften the water. Once the pad is full, its effect diminishes, which is why you can change them easily without needing to replace the whole filter. Lotus Vita uses only high-quality activated carbon made from natural coconut shells, which is ideal for cleaning drinking water. This unique material binds up to ten thousand times its size in molecules, effectively removing pollutants and particles. The result? Water that is cleaner, safer, and tastes remarkably fresh.

Ion exchangers

Substances like limescale, which are dissolved in water with a low chemical charge, are undesired but not effectively captured by activated carbon. That’s why Lotus Vita combines activated carbon with advanced ion exchangers. These exchangers use hydrogen (H+) and potassium (K+) to efficiently reduce such substances and improve water quality.

1. Limescale filter pad

The replaceable limescale pad combines activated carbon and ion exchangers to filter out pollutants and reduce limescale. Designed for adaptability, it can be replaced as needed to ensure the water filter always performs at its best.

2. ion exchangers

The first chamber is filled with activated carbon and features ion exchangers for final limescale removal. This layer reduces impurities and prepares the water for deeper filtration, creating a foundation for soft, great-tasting water.

3. activated carbon

The ultra-fine activated carbon layer further refines the water, reducing heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, chlorine, and other impurities. It also preserves essential minerals, keeping the water natural and balanced.

4. Mineral Ceramics

In the final stage, mineral ceramics enrich the water with magnesium, calcium, and other valuable minerals. EM ceramics and a magnetic field restore the water’s natural structure, giving it a soft and refreshing taste that feels as pure as nature itself.
